Crystal Palace Football Club have not made an approach for Sam Baldock.

The 23-year-old joined west Ham United last August, but despite making 23 appearances, he did not start a game after mid-January.

Baldock has been linked with an exit from the Upton Park club following their promotion to the Premier League, as Sam Allardyce looks to shake up his options.

Palace are said to be interested in the former MK Dons ace, but Eagles boss Dougie Freedman told the Croydon Advertiser: "Sam is a very good young player, but we have not made any contact.”
