Darlington defender Alan White has left his hometown team to rejoin former club Luton Town on a two-year deal.
The 33-year-old centre-back made 93 appearances for the Hatters before leaving to join Colchester in 2000.
"It's 12 years since I first signed but it seems like it was only five minutes ago, it's great to be back," White told the club's website.
"I'm really looking forward to getting stuck in."
"His arrival will give added competition and strength in depth to our squad which is what we lacked last season," said Luton boss Mick Harford.
"He's been and played here before so he knows the club well and I'm delighted that we've been able to sign him."
