Rams won’t give up on Everton striker
Derby County want to take James Vaughan back when he regains his fitness.
The 21-year-old has returned to Everton from a loan spell at Pride Park due to a knee injury which will rule him out for six weeks, by which time the Rams will look to take him back.
"He's going to be out for six to eight weeks so that takes us until mid-December," boss Nigel Clough told the Derby Telegraph. "We'll see how his rehab goes.
“He's someone we'll certainly look to bring back in January if he's fully fit. His injury was a big blow and we are contemplating a loan to replace James. It is something we'll be looking at this week."
