Derby County Football Club want to extend the stay of Fredrik Stoor.

The 25-year-old Swedish international joined Fulham in the summer of 2008, but after failing to make an impact at Craven Cottage, he was loaned out to the Rams in September.

Stoor is set to return to the Premier League side after his short spell in the Championship, but Nigel Clough admits he wants to keep him at Pride Park.

“We will look to extend the loan because he has settled in and done very well indeed," said Clough. "Freddie looks very comfortable on the ball and he is quick.

“We needed a little bit more pace in the side and even at right-back, it helps. I think he has improved as each game has gone on.”
