Danny Buijs is excited by reports linking him with Derby County Football Club.

The 27-year-old, who watched the Rams at Newcastle United recently, has been linked with a move to Pride Park now that the transfer window has reopened.

Currently the skipper of Dutch side ADO Den Haag, the midfielder admits he is excited by the prospect of a move to England, with reports suggesting a loan switch is on the cards.

"To play in England would be fantastic," he told De Telegraaf. "I don't expect a club from the Premier League would want me, so this is a big chance."
