Derby County Football Club hope to take Nicky Hunt on loan.

The Bolton Wanderers defender has fallen to third choice right-back at the Reebok Stadium, and he may be allowed to leave in the winter.

It has been reported that the Rams want Hunt to help bolster their options at the back, particularly as they currently face an injury problem.

However, Bolton are currently without a manger since the sacking of Gary Megson, and they might decided to hold fire until the expected appointment of Owen Coyle.
