Nigel Clough believes Nicky Hunt is perfect for Derby County Football Club.

The Championship side have signed the defender from Bolton Wanderers on a month-long loan deal, with Paul Connolly previously the only available right-back available to the Rams.

"Nicky is a very welcome addition to our squad and we're pleased that we have been able to bring him in,” manager Clough told the official club website.

"Nicky can play at right-back or centre-half so it is nice to have someone available to us who is equally comfortable in either position. Nicky fits the bill perfectly for us."
