Javan Vidal has been recalled to the Manchester City Football Club squad.

The 20-year-old fullback joined Derby County on loan in January, and although he was expected to see the season out at Pride Park, the Blues have recalled him after a lack of action.

"Javan picked up a knock playing for the reserves and has been ill, so I don't think we have seen enough of him to make a judgement," Rams boss Nigel Clough told the Derby Evening Telegraph.

"Javan's position is right-back, but with Nicky Hunt doing so well there, it is difficult for anybody to break into that position. We are grateful to Manchester City for allowing Javan to come to us.”
