Craig Levein remains firmly in charge at Tannadice despite being linked with both the Celtic and Aberdeen jobs.

"Craig is happy at United, he gets left to get on with the job and we get on well despite some of the nonsense you read in certain places," chairman Stephen Thompson told The Courier.

"He may well go one day - that's football - but I would like to think he will be here for a few years yet.

"So it has been business as normal."
