Gary Mackay-Steven insists he is happy at Dundee United Football Club.

The 21-yaer-old winger has enjoyed a fine debut season at Tannadice, and his performances were rewarded with a new contract in the New Year.

Although Mackay-Steven is now tied to the club until 2015 he has been linked with an exit in the summer, but he insists he has no plans to quit United anytime soon.

"I see my future at Tannadice just now," he told the Daily Record. "They gave me my big chance. We can go places with the team we've put together so my future is here.

“I'm playing every week and I need that. We believe we can do good things if we all stick together. We're a close-knit and talented bunch."
