Liverpool Football Club insist Yossi Benayoun is not for sale.

Dynamo Moscow have claimed to have agreed personal terms with the Israel playmaker, who they are prepared to pay £7million to sign this month.

However, the Reds have hit back at suggestions Benayoun is on his way out of Anfield, by insisting the 29-year-old is simply not for sale.

"The player is not for sale, it's as simple as that," said a club spokesman on Liverpool's official website.
