Russians to renew interest in Liverpool ace
Dynamo Moscow remain keen on Liverpool Football Club’s Yossi Benayoun.
The Russians claimed during the winter window that they had agreed personal terms with the Israel international, who has proved a valuable member of Rafael Benitez’s squad.
However, the Reds rejected their offer of £7million so Benayoun, formerly of West Ham United, remained on Merseyside where he is under contract until 2013.
Reports in the Daily Mail indicate that Dynamo have not given up hope of signing Benayoun, and as their window remains open for another two weeks, an improved offer is being prepared.
It is being claimed the club, who recently ended Andrey Voronin’s nightmare stay at Anfield, are set to table a bid of £8million in the hope of landing the 29-year-old.
