David Moyes has thanked Everton Football Club for the opportunity they have given him.

Speaking after he marked eight years at the Goodison Park club, the popular Moyes spoke of his gratitude to the club who plucked him from Championship side Preston North End.

"I'm really lucky that I've had a great chairman (Bill Kenwright) and I've worked at a great club who've given me the opportunity,” the Toffees manager told Sky Sports.

"I've always said that I don't want to overstay my welcome at Everton if they think I've been here too long then I'll move. But at the present time I think they're still putting up with me.”
