Everton want Jay Rodriguez to partner Nikica Jelavic next season.

Since arriving from Rangers in a £6million January transfer, Croatian international Jelavic has been a huge success at the Goodison Park club.

David Moyes now hopes to be given more cash to find a regular striker partner for the 26-year-old, and Fans FC understands Rodriguez is his top target.

The 22-year-old has again been in blistering form for Burnley this season, however, the Clarets rate him at £8million which could be beyond the Toffees.
