Chelsea Football Club are set to enter the race for Steven Pienaar.

The South African midfielder is back at Everton on loan following a disappointing year at Tottenham Hotspur, who are prepared to sell him in the summer.

David Moyes would love to take Pienaar to Goodison Park on a permanent basis, and he feels confident of striking a deal when the window reopens for £3million.

However, Fans FC understands Chelsea are also keen on the 30-year-old, and hope to persuade him to have another crack in the capital next season.
