Interest confirmed in Rangers defender
11:00 AM 27 June, 2009
Andy Webster is a season-long loan target for new Falkirk manager Eddie May.

The former Hearts defender is also wanted by Dundee United as he looks to get his career back on track with a campaign of regular football.

"Andy Webster is a Rangers player and a lot of things would dictate whether he was to become available," said May, quoted in the Daily Record.

"But if he did then, of course, I would be very interested.

"He's had his problems over the past few years but he is a very talented player.

"He played for Scotland B last season but should really be nearer the full team.

"That is the standard we are trying to aspire to."
