Fulham manager reveals Kamara regret
10:00 AM 04 February, 2010
Roy Hodgson admits he wishes he kept Diomansy Kamara at Fulham Football Club.

The Senegal international has been allowed to move to Scotland on loan, where he will see out the season alongside Tottenham Hotspur’s Robbie Keane at Celtic.

However, having subsequently learned that striker Andrew Johnson faces spending the rest of the season on the sidelines with a knee injury, Hodgson wishes he kept Kamara.

“If they find the problem is major, Andy would need an operation that would keep him out for the rest of the season,” he is quoted as saying in the Daily Mail.

“One of the reasons we let Diomansy go was because we didn’t think the problem with Andy was anywhere near as grave. I would have Kamara back, but it’s too late.”
