Fulham boss sets sights on silverware
08:00 PM 20 March, 2010
Roy Hodgson has changed Fulham’s priorities from survival to silverware.

The Cottagers boss has always maintained that staying in the Premier League is the ultimate aim for his side, who now have 38 points and are well clear of relegation danger.

And after beating Juventus on that sensational Thursday night last week, he now admits that the Europa League, and the FA Cup in which they face Tottenham Hotspur this week, are his priorities.

"I don't think we'll go down," said Hodgson. "Maybe we're a few points short but I'm confident that we will do it, so there's no doubt that the two cup competitions will now take priority.”

If Hodgson leads his side to glory against Spurs at White Hart Lane they will face Aston Villa in the semi-final, whilst German side Wolfsburg await in the quarter-finals in Europe.
