Danny Murphy expects to stay at Fulham Football Club.

The veteran midfield is out of contract at the end of the season, and he has been linked with a move to Mark Hughes’ Queens Park Rangers.

However, Martin Jol is keen to keep Murphy at Craven Cottage, and the 35-year-old admits he is likely to agree an extension with his current employers.

"I have spoken to the club but there's no great urgency with me because I'm happy and they are happy with me," he told the Sun. "I'd be surprised if it didn't get sorted."
