Veteran Simon Royce is hoping to stay at Gillingham next season.

The 37-year old has helped the Gills to the League Two play-off final and, with his contract expiring at the end of the season said, "I have not been offered anything yet.

"I would love to stay here, I have made that clear to the manager but obviously finances dictate whether it be here or somewhere else.

"I want to carry on playing, but if I don't get offered a contract, my last game will be at Wembley, so how bad is that?"
