Gillingham have released seven players and offered new deals to two.
John Nutter and Simon Royce have been offered new contracts as young striker Andy Pugh. 37-year old Royce has been a near ever-present in the Gillingham in the past two seasons and left-back Nutter has also been instrumental in the Gills promotion-winning campaign.
In addition, striker Luis Cumbers and defender Tom Wynter have had options for a further year on their contracts taken up.
The Gills have let go veteran midfielder Nicky Southall, striker Gary Mulligan, ex-skipper Andrew Crofts, full-back Sean Clohessy and first-year pros Charlie Howard, Chris Kiely and Tayler Thomas are also leaving the club.
