Grimsby Town manager Mike Newell has offered a longer and improved contract to French striker Jean-Louis Akpa Akpro.
The 24-year-old French-born former Toulouse forward originally signed an 18-month contract in December following a successful trial at Blundell Park.
He has so far netted three times in 20 appearances for the Mariners, and is currently considering the new offer.
Newell told the club website: "I think there's a lot more to come from him and I think he will get better and better playing alongside Barry [Conlon]."
