Utility man Jamie Clarke has signed a new one-year deal at Blundell Park.

Clarke told the club's official website, "It's nice to get things tied up and I can now have a few weeks to re-charge the batteries."

"I'm going to go on holiday now and then start thinking about next season.

"We haven't good too many players at the moment but I'm sure that the gaffer will have his contacts and his scouts out there and we'll have some decent players in by the start of the season."
