Birmingham City Football Club have no interest in Lee Wallace.

Alex McLeish is in the market for a left fullback ahead of the new season, and reports at the weekend claimed he was interest in the Hearts star.

The 22-year-old broke into the Scotland national side last year, but despite his progress, the Birmingham Mail insist he is not a target for the Blues manager.

Instead, McLeish remains keen to sign Paul Konchesky from Fulham, but the uncertainty surrounding the future of Roy Hodgson at Craven Cottage is holding up any potential deal.
