Doherty doesn’t plan Hibernian return
02:30 PM 28 May, 2012
Matt Doherty insists his future remains at Wolverhampton Wanderers Football Club.

The 20-year-old left the Molineux club to take in a loan spell at Hibernian in January, and he eventually made 17 appearances for the Scottish side.

It has been claimed that the Easter Road club are keen to take Doherty for another loan next season, but the defender insists he is focused only on Wolves.

"I'm proud to say I played for a club with the history such as Hibs and I'm very grateful to Pat Fenton and the supporters for the support they gave me up there,” he said.

"I loved it and it has been a huge part in my development but my focus is now 100 per cent on playing for Wolves. I can't wait now to start back in pre-season.”
