Kevin Kilbane insists he has never been distracted by talk of a Hull City Football Club exit.

The Republic of Ireland international was heavily linked with a move to Scottish giants Celtic in the winter, but he remains part of Phil Brown’s squad at the KC Stadium.

"I don't think it was ever on the cards in all honesty," Kilbane told the Hull Daily Mail. "There was a lot that I read in the newspapers but there was never anything concrete to me."

The 33-year-old former Wigan Athletic midfielder has only featured eleven times in the Premier League for the Tigers this season, with six of these being starts.
