Mikel Arteta was the pick of the bunch for Everton Football Club on Sunday.

The Spanish midfielder made just his third start of the season, and he was in fine form as he hit a brace and set up another goal in the 5-1 rout of Hull City at Goodison Park.

“He was involved in some fantastic stuff, he joined in, he got in the box, he played a slightly different role for us today through the middle and he's improving all the time," said David Moyes.

"He's not quite there yet, but when he's right we are a really good team.”
