Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink is sure Hull City Football Club will avoid relegation this season.

The Tigers were hammered 5-1 at Everton on Sunday afternoon, and although this keeps them in the bottom three in the Premier League, but Hesselink remains optimistic.

“We have enough quality to stay in the league,” the Dutchman told the Sunday Herald. “I love the saying, ‘Every game is a cup final’ and it’s true for Hull just now.

“Like Celtic (his former club), the pressure is on us to win every match, but for different reasons. I’m a positive guy, a romantic like I said, and I believe we can do it.”
