No chance of Keane relaxing at Ipswich Town
Roy Keane insists he will not be putting his feet up despite his Ipswich Town Football Club, finally, winning a match in the Championship.
It’s taken them fifteen games, but the Tractor Boys have finally earned their first win of the 2009/10 season courtesy of a single David Wright goal against Derby County.
"I'm pleased, it's better than losing and it's always nice to win football matches," said Keane. "It's ironic because I don't think we played particularly well.
"Having said that, for four or five weeks I've been saying how well we've played without getting the rewards. Today we huffed and puffed and won an ugly match 1-0. That's allowed.
"We'll be back working hard on Monday morning, though, and anyone who thinks we're going to relax after winning one game in 15 obviously doesn't know me very well."
