Daryl Murphy is expected to join Ipswich Town Football Club today.

The Championship side are set to lose Tamas Priskin to Queens Park Rangers on deadline day, and Keane will return to his former club to replace the Hungarian.

The Irishman is keen to take compatriot Murphy from Sunderland, and is expected to take the player on a loan deal for the rest of the season.

The 26-year-old has made just two Premier League starts for the Black Cats this season, with another appearance made from the substitute bench.
