Fulham Football Club have recalled David Stockdale.

The 26-year-old goalkeeper has been on loan at Ipswich Town this season, and he has made eighteen appearances in the Championship for the Portman Road club.

However, the Cottagers have now recalled Stockdale to their squad, following a neck injury to Mark Schwarzer which will rule the 39-year-old out for as long as six weeks.

“The club can confirm that he [Schwarzer] has sustained a compression injury to his thoracic spine and that he will be unavailable for four to six weeks, and is expected to return to play towards the end of January,” read an official club statement.
