Ipswich Town tipped to take Tomasz
10:00 AM 20 April, 2012
Ipswich Town Football Club are set to land Tomasz Kuszczak in the summer.

The Poland international had hopes of becoming Manchester United’s first choice goalkeeper when Edwin van der Sar retired, but he has slipped to fourth choice.

Summer signing David De Gea is Sir Alex Ferguson’s new number one, with Anders Lindegaard and young Ben Amos challenging the Spanish ace.

Kuszczak is out of contract at Old Trafford at the end of the season, and he has been placed in the shop window during a loan spell at Watford.

And reports suggest the 30-year-old goalkeeper could remain in the Championship next term, with Ipswich set to offer him a contract at Portman Road.
