Jim Jefferies has already run the rule over FC Eindhoven winger Kevin Diaz with a view to a summer deal, but knows that SPL survival is needed first.

"First and foremost we need to stay in the SPL," he said, quoted in the Daily Record.

"We've done well in our last two games and we're positive of staying up.

"Nothing will be done with regards to new signings before we know what our situation is but it doesn't stop me looking.

"I was told about Kevin and went to watch him but it's too early to say whether we'd be interested or not."
