Beckford linked with Wolverhampton Wanderers
09:30 AM 04 December, 2009
Jermaine Beckford is a target for Wolverhampton Wanderers Football Club.

The striker is one of the hottest properties outside of the Premier League, and has been scoring for fun again for Leeds United this season.

Despite the 25-year-old being out of contract in the summer, the Whites are refusing to sell him in January as they look to clinch promotion to the Championship.

However, Wolves manager Mick McCarthy is ready to test the resolve of the League One leaders, by making an offer for the £6million-rated Beckford when the window opens.

I think it would be silly to keep him. sure, he does get us goals, but he is just not interested anymore. he is missing to many chances. take the 6million for him. we have plenty of cover and, with the 6million, we could eaily find 2/3 more players of equal or better talent
