Fulham lining up £3million striker bid
12:30 PM 21 December, 2009
Fulham Football Club will try and lure Jermaine Beckford in the New Year.

The 26-year-old is rated as one of the most lethal strikers in England outside of the Premier League, and he has scored 12 times for Leeds United so far this season.

Beckford is out of contract in the summer when he would be able to sign for another club on a free, and although the Elland Road club are aware of this, they insist they won’t sell him in January.

However, the Sunday Express claim Roy Hodgson will look to persuade the League One club to do business when the transfer window reopens, with an offer of £3million being claimed.
