Burnley opportunity of no interest to Grayson
06:59 PM 11 January, 2010
Simon Grayson insists he has no interest in the vacant position at Burnley Football Club.

Owen Coyle’s decision to take charge at Bolton Wanderers has created an opportunity at Turf Moor, yet not one which could tempt Grayson from Leeds United.

"This was a fantastic opportunity and I have said all along that someone will take this club back into the top flight,” he told the Yorkshire Post. "Hopefully, that will be me."

Grayson has done an excellent job since moving to Elland Road, with the highlight being knocking Manchester United out of the FA Cup at Old Trafford last weekend.

His main job description is to get Leeds back into the Premier League, and at the moment, they are top of League One and look a safe bet for promotion to the Championship.
