Martyn Waghorn could extend his stay at Leicester City Football Club.

The young striker is due to return to Sunderland from his loan spell with the Foxes on January 11, but Nigel Pearson could move to extend the deal.

"There is always a possibility, but I am not going to make any comments on players coming in and out,” the City manager told the Leicester Mercury.

"I am very pleased with his form, as I am with all the team at this time. I think we are playing well and he is playing his part in that."
