Chris Weale could be on his way to Tottenham Hotspur Football Club in the New Year.

Due to the injuries suffered by Carlo Cudicini following his motorcycle accident, Harry Redknapp is in the market for a new goalkeeper at White Hart Lane.

The Spurs manager wants another shot-stopper to rival Brazilian Heurelho Gomes for the number one jersey, and Manchester United’s Ben Foster is said to be amongst his wanted list.

However, a cheaper option could come in the shape of Weale, 27-years-old, who has impressed at Leicester City since his free transfer move from Bristol City in the summer.
