Martyn Waghorn would be happy to see the season out at Leicester City Football Club.

The 19-year-old forward is currently on loan with the Championship side, who are riding third in the table sparking hopes of a promotion-winning season to the Premier League.

Although the youngster, who has scored four times in seventeen appearances for the Foxes, is due back at Sunderland in January, he admits he would rather stay put.

"I am enjoying it here, they are a good set of lads and yes why not, I would be quite happy to stay and try to help Leicester go up again,” said Waghorn.
