Ian Holloway feels DJ Campbell is vital to Blackpool Football Club.

The striker impressed for the Tangerines during a loan spell last season, with his goals helping them earn an unlikely promotion to the Premier League.

Holloway always wanted to take Campbell back to Bloomfield Road, and he achieved this by agreeing an undisclosed fee with Leicester City on deadline day.

"I've wanted DJ so badly, I think he suits us and he is absolutely vital for this football club," he told the official club site. "Never is someone so well suited to a club as DJ is."
