Peter Jackson will not be pursuing a move for Rene Howe of Peterborough.

He told BBC Radio Lincolnshire: "We showed interest in him but he wanted a bit longer.

"We can't wait forever. We are in a situation where we need to move on and look to bring other people in."

One of those other people could be Paul Connor. The 30-year-old former Cheltenham forward is on trial at Sincil Bank and should feature in an attractive looking friendly fixture against Ferencvaros of Hungary on Wednesday night.
