Dirk Kuyt is thrilled to have scored fifty goals for Liverpool Football Club.

The Dutch international forward reached the landmark figure as he notched the only goal of the game against Everton on Saturday, which lifted the Reds into the top four.

“It's a great feeling and I'm really happy to have scored 50 goals for the club, especially in a game like this," Kuyt told the club's official website.

"But I don't think it mattered who scored, just that we got the win. We've had a massive win and we will enjoy the victory. But we have to show that we really are back to our best form."
