Glen Johnson is set to make his return to action for Liverpool Football Club on Monday.

The England international has been sidelined with a knee injury since December, but he is in line to feature against Wigan Athletic on Monday night.

"He trained on Friday,” confirmed Reds manager Rafael Benitez.

“It was a full training session and I think he will be okay to go in the squad for Wigan Athletic. The players we have coming back now can have an influence on the run-in."
