Alberto Aquilani has no regrets over his move to Liverpool Football Club.

The 25-year-old joined the Reds in a £20million summer move from Roma, but he has endured a hugely frustrating debut season in England as he tries to overcome a serious ankle injury.

Aquilani has made just four starts in the Premier League for Rafael Benitez’s side, but his agent has dismissed suggestions he regrets making the move to Anfield.

"Alberto made a decision of a lifetime," said Franco Zavaglia. "He is fine at Liverpool and next year will be the most important for him."
