Liverpool boss won’t give up fight
06:24 PM 21 March, 2010
Rafael Benitez will not give up Liverpool Football Club’s fight for a top-four place.

Despite taking an early lead against Manchester United at Old Trafford on Sunday, the champions came back with two goals to inflict a tenth Premier League loss on the Anfield club.

This has seriously damaged their hopes of a top-four finish and UEFA Champions League football next season, but Benitez insists he and his players will fight all the way.

“It will be difficult, but still we have to fight. There are a lot of points to play for so we have to keep going and see what happens in the next game,” he told Sky Sports.

"It depends on the other teams too. We have to win the first one, see what the position is in the table and think about the next one. We have to take one game at a time."

Rafa Benetiz is a very bad case for Liverpool FC because he is clueless about football. He uses tactics to win football matches but as a Coach he is not. If he were a good coach, he could have turned Insua into a complete footballer. Almost all the goals Liverpool FC have conceded are from the RIGHT WING side of the field and the exact position Insua is supposed to defend. Team morale is low because he FAVOURS Insua and anothe useless player called Lucas. Which team will field these two players? But stubbornness of Rafa Benetiz keep them in team. I will be diasppointed if we win the 4th Spot because he will use his Chameleon attitude to stay on. He must go and it is now. He could not turn Babel into a world class player; he has confused Balayoun and as for Kuyt only God knows what he does on the field these days.

I do love Rafa going on about 4th place, he is under this belief that the 4th spot is up to liverpool to achive, get real Rafa, it is now for Spurs to lose, we are in the driving seat, and although we have the worst possible matches to come in april, if we get 6 points from that month then we still have the best chance. Liverpool have had there time, and i truely believe next season it will be Man u chelsea arsenal and spurs flying the flag for english football in the champions league next season. And lets be honest, with the effort livetpool put in this year, Not even spurs's lake of champions league experiance and playing our worst football can we do worse than liverpool did, it has been coming, the kop just fell asleep and didnt see that the gap between pool and spurs had got so close, and now we have overtaken you

rafa should been sacked if liverpool in the top 4 or not in the top 4..he is a great manager..but not in EPL..his rotation, strategy and the player he pick is not good..i dont like liverpool playing under rafa..so bored...look player he pick..lucas???kuyt???and look like player he sell..bellamy??crouch??keane??alonso??luis garcia??in rafa squad their are not dangerous player..u see babel...rafa will regret if we let him go and will be a star player if he out of this team..the major problem liverpool have is RAFA..what he's doing at liverpool is not good enough..liverpool cant play wit lower team...sack him plzz..but one more think..dont think liverpool will sack him...coz he is under contract till 2014..if we sacked him, there will be a lot of money to give..probably 20m for him..look like a star player rate..rafa will stay..then next season is another poor performance liverpool again...i can guarantee to liverpool fans

It's clear, Benitez needs to go along with his low rate bunch of players: Lucas, Kuyt, Insua, Maxi. I still cant understand, Manu were there for the taking, Babel against Neville would have been the turning point. Am sure when he saw Maxi was in the team, he LOL. Anyway urgent time for huge chnges....starts with Benitez!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
