The Holland international has only been in Italy for just under a year, but he has failed to make an impression during his debut campaign at Juventus.

Elia has made just a handful of appearances for the Serie A giants, who are likely to listen to offers for his signature when the window reopens in the summer.

Liverpool are said to be interested in taking the 25-year-old on loan for the campaign, but A Bola claims Benfica could make a straight cash offer for his signature.
