Fabio Borini has been added to Liverpool Football Club’s wanted list.

New Reds boss Brendan Rodgers is a keen admirer of the Italian striker, having had him in his Swansea City squad as they clinched promotion to the Premier League last year.

Borini was at the Liberty Stadium club on loan from Chelsea, but he has since left the Londoners and is co-owned by Italian duo Parma and Roma.

The 21-year-old scored nine goals in 24 Serie A matches last season, and reports suggest Rodgers wants a reunion at Anfield in a £7million transfer.
