Jose Callejon has been linked with a move to Liverpool.

Brendan Rodgers is determined to add more quality to his squad at Anfield this summer, as he looks to return the Reds to a top-four finish.

The former Swansea City boss has been told he has cash at his disposal, and it is believed he has set aside £7million for the transfer of Callejon.

The 25-year-old midfielder has struggled to nail down a regular place in the Real Madrid side, with 20 of his 25 league appearances coming from the bench.

Callejon remains under contract at the Bernabeu until the summer of 2016, but Rodgers is hoping to persuade Jose Mourinho to do business.
