Swansea City have slapped a £15million price tag on Joe Allen.

The 22-year-old enjoyed a fine debut season in the Premier League last season, when he was one of the star performers for Brendan Rodgers.

The latter has now left the Liberty Stadium club for Liverpool, and he has made signing the midfielder one of his top priorities this summer.

However, the Reds boss may well have second thoughts when he learns that his former club have slapped a £15million price tag on Allen’s head.
