Liverpool are considering making a move for James Milner.

The England international has spent the past two years at Manchester City, helping them win the FA Cup and, last season, the Premier League.

Milner’s place in Roberto Mancini’s side is far from assured, though, and he has been linked with an exit from the Etihad Stadium during the summer.

Fans FC understands Brendan Rodgers would jump at the chance of signing the 26-year-old midfielder, and could soon approach the Blues with a proposition.

Knowing that Mancini wants to sign defender Daniel Agger, the Reds may offer the Dane to the champions in a straight swap for Milner.
